SEAFARER MODULE

This module display all seafarer (new, existing & inactive) processed/hired by WMSI . This module serves at the initial process in encoding new applicants to the system. Seafarer module is intended for Recruitment Team to process and manage applicants record effectively.
This module is composed of three (3) sub-modules : New Application, Candidates for Approval & Approved Seafarers

New Application

This sub-module act as the initial recruitment process and used in creating new applicant record into the system.
The following sections were encoded as part of the application process : Applicant Profile, Initial Recruitment Checklist, Personal Information, Educational Background, Family Background, Sea Service History, Crew Evaluation, Medical Information, Crew References, Crew Documents, General Remarks, Interview & Approval.

Candidates For Approval

This sub-module contains all newly encoded applicants and all currently being processed. All information in relation to the seafarer's application shall be encoded under his profile.
Depending on the outcome of his application, the record shall remain under this sub-module unless his application status is changed from "Pending" to "Approved".

Approved Seafarers

All approved candidates shall be listed under this sub-module and all seafarers listed shall be the basis for crew planning by the crewing department.

Job Order

All seafarer requirements from the Marine HR Team are being requested using this module. There are 3 views under the Job Order Sub menu : MHR JO View, TAD JO View & GM’s Office JO View. Each view has its own permission ang function depending on who’s currently logged in.
